CO2 conversion promoted by potassium intercalated g-C3N4 catalyst in DBD plasma system

The direct conversion of CO2 to CO and O2 has attracted extensive attention as is a key C1 feedstock for chemical synthesis. promoted by ?-Al2O3 supported potassium intercalated g-C3N4 (KuCN/AO) catalyst in packed-bed dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma system was investigated. A coaxial cylinder DBD reactor used with Cu powder the high voltage electrode. Reactor temperature showed converse effect on conversion. As decreased from 120 ? 50 ?, rate energy efficiency both increased ca. 50%. After filled into area, mode changed filamentary combination filamentary-surface discharge. morphology structure KuCN characterized SEM, XRD, FTIR XPS. kept porous K element distributed uniformly between CN interlayer spacing. In KuCN/AO assisted system, highest rate, yield were 11.1%, 10.0% 9.41% 19.3%, 18.1% 20.6% compared pure DBD/?-Al2O3 respectively. main mechanism enhancing analyzed. larger specific surface layers bridging charge redistribution enabled obtain good plasma-catalytic performance.
